Brigantine Quarters Amenities

Beach – Brigantine Quarters is very close to the beach.On property, there is a private beach access gate that will lead you to the shoreline just a couple of blocks away. You will receive a key at check-in to access this gate. You can also access the Shipyard Beach by the Sonesta Resort in 3 to 8 minutes if you walk, bike or drive a vehicle. Parking is free but very limited. The closest public beach access is at the end of Pope Avenue. It is about a 12 minute drive and free parking is located at the end of Pope Avenue on the right. Please bring your beach towels from home

Golf – Shipyard Plantation has 27 holes that you will have access to at prevailing rates. You can contact the Shipyard Golf Club  at 843-686-8802 if you would like more information on the course.

Tennis – Shipyard Plantation has 23 courts at the Van der Meer Racquet Club . You will have access to these at prevailing rates. You may contact the tennis center directly at 843-686-8804 if you would like additional information regarding their facilities. We have 2 private tennis courts on property available free of charge for all Brigantine Quarters owners and guests.

Swimming Pools – Brigantine Quarters has two of its own private swimming pools located within the property. The smaller swimming pool is heated during the months of March, April, May, September and October. The larger swimming pool is not heated during the off season. Please bring your pool towels from home.

Bicycling – One of the most popular activities on Hilton Head Island is cycling and Hilton Head is a cycling paradise. It is recommended that you rent bikes while you are vacationing to take full advantage of all the trails and parks the Island has to offer. Please see the link provided on the right for a complete guide to bike trails and parks. All Brigantine Quarters owners listed on the deed will have use of 2 bikes free of charge during your stay. Brigantine Quarters has access to miles of scenic trails for you to explore through the Shipyard Plantation or travel to the beach or an array of shops nearby on Hilton Head. So head outdoors and ride the impressive pathway system for cyclists.

The amenities are abundant, you will have many things to choose from. Start your day with an early morning stroll or a bike ride and then enjoy your  afternoon poolside, on the beach, playing tennis, golfing or shopping. You can then finish your day with dinner at one of Hilton Head Islands great restaurants. We do not want you to forget about the Nightlife on Hilton Head Island, you can dance the night away or enjoy a walk on the beach.
